Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
Research indicates that most chronic pain and mind-body conditions are not caused by structural or biological issues in the body, but from learned neural-pathways in the brain. We also know that stress, unprocessed emotions, trauma, and fear are significant factors that exacerbate chronic pain and mind-body conditions.

Our holistic treatment approach combines Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy, and mindfulness and somatic techniques to help you unlearn your pain and create new neural pathways in the brain. The work includes psychoeducation, reducing fear, learning to approach pain through a lens of safety, nervous system regulation, stress reduction, emotional processing, and embracing positive experiences.
Grounded in the pioneering work of experts like Dr. John Sarnos, Dr. Howard Schubiner, and Alan Gordon, these evidence-based treatments have been shown to dramatically reduce or even eliminate chronic pain and mind-body symptoms. We are committed to providing you with tools and empathetic support that you need to increase your well-being and live a fulfilling life free from the constraints of chronic pain. There is hope!

Anxiety, depression, stress, and mood disorders can have a profound impact on the nervous system. By enhancing our coping mechanisms, mitigating the stress response, processing emotions, and implementing holistic mind-body approaches, we can help you to regulate your nervous system, alleviate symptoms, and enhance overall well-being.
Our approach is an integrated mind-body approach that includes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness and somatic techniques that are tailored to each individuals needs. Together we will work to calm your nervous system, navigate through trauma, learn new skills, improve communication skills, and develop adaptive coping strategies. Our goal is to assist you in achieving a calmer, healthier, and more balanced life.

DBT Skills Training
We assist clients struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder or challenges with emotional regulation issues with vital skills to enhance their quality of life. Through our comprehensive approach, we utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with a focus on cultivating mindfulness, developing emotional regulation skills, learning distress tolerance skills, and improving interpersonal relationship skills.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy interventions aim to empower you to integrate mind-body awareness, navigate your emotions effectively, foster healthier relationships, and increase overall well-being. We strive to support you in achieving greater stability, resilience, and fulfillment in your life.
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia
CBT-I is a first line treatment for chronic insomnia and is considered more effective and long-lasting than pharmaceutical interventions. Treatment usually lasts about 6-8 weeks with follow-ups as needed.
Treatment includes sleep psychoeducation, helping you determine and get the amount of sleep that YOU need, developing healthy sleep routines, sleep hygiene, relaxation skills, cognitive restructuring, and relapse prevention. Improving sleep quality can also have a profound effect on improving well-being, improving chronic pain and mind-body symptoms, and helping reduce intensity of depression and anxiety related disorders.
